what we expect from you

Although 12th Sturmpionier is free to join, as a new recruit you will be required to have your own Personal Public Liability insurance to cover historical re-enactment. For legal reasons 12th Sturmpionier cannot allow you to participate in displays or public events without this. 

upon application of membership, you will be granted access to the group discord, you will be expected to agree to the Code of Conduct and will in effect be a Probationary member until such time as Senior Membership (the Founding Committee) vote on your membership. (these votes occur about once every 2 weeks so you will not be kept in limbo long) 

once you are granted full membership you join the group as a soldat, this is not a permanent rank and you may well be promoted if senior officers consider your conduct to be good or for any other reason. 

you are as a matter of course expected to provide your own uniform and equipment and 12th Sturmpionier does not provide any kit or equipment [our preferred retailer for these Items is Soldier of Fortune based in Wales] a full list of the kit and equipment can be found on our website however as a new recruit you are not expected to buy everything at once and we will be doing displays where a full battle load is not required so don't worry too much if you think it's a bit expensive.
